Adding 3rd Party Boards 1.7.9
I am working on separate projects in which I am using two different Arduino boards. The Arduino Due, and the Adalogger 32u4. After installing the latest version of the Arduino IDE (1.7.9) to program the Due, I am unable to add the Adalogger 32u4 to the board manager. I cannot find any information online for adding third party boards to the 1.7.9 IDE. I would really appreciate it if I didn't need to switch between different versions of the Arduino IDE to program each board. Can you please help me with this problem? Thank you.

I think 1.7.9 comes from Arduino.org so I suggest you ask there. We support Arduino.cc and their latest release is 1.6.8 but if you have problems with that try 1.6.5 from https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/OldSoftw ... s#previous

After getting in contact with Arduino.org tech support, they told me that there is no board manager for 1.7.9. My fix was to use 1.6.8 and add the Due to the board manager.
