Fried my IC

Hey Adafruit team, Sorry I didnt know which category to pick
for this but I hope you can help me! I was trying to build a case for my
Tv-b-gone kit and must of shorted out the IC somehow, I tested the circuit
and everything looks fine but the infrared leds aren't firing.. it was working fine until I put it in the case with the battery connected. Anyway
long story short, I was wondering if you can send me a new one in my next order that I'll place as soon as I get your response... I don't mind paying
a little, I just don't want to buy a whole new kit.. Thank you!!!

Thanks for the reply, yeah I know I could do that, but wouldn't I have to flash it with something or program it somehow?
