The reason the other links are dead, is that they had been moved, due to being obsoleted. You want either http://www.BANNED.net/projects/tvbgo ... ne_1.0.zip if you have the original 1.0 board, or http://www.BANNED.net/projects/tvbgo ... ne_1.1.zip if you have the version 1.1 board.
In either case, you will have all of the North American or European TV-B-Gone generation 3 codes. (There is also a world wide enabled firmware, but it limited to ~110 codes of each region, if done that way.)

BANNED,
A few questions for you, in the version 1.1 you just posted there is a history.txt file i was reading. Anyways I was wondering if it is possible to eventually have a version that also did say changing channels? So say 7 clicks changes channels?
Just wondering if this is possible. Also in the standard attiny85 chip how much can it hold memory wise?
And one more, would this v1.1 work on the EHP version of the tv-b-gone or would there be a different hex file for that?
Thanks, sorry for all of the newb questions.

Oh right, forgot about the EHP design. http://www.BANNED.net/projects/tvbgone/tvbg_ehp.zip is the best match, that I wrote up. Same code base.
The limit on the ATtiny85 is ~200 - 230, depending on how good you do with the compression.
For channel changing, you will need to capture the codes from the original remotes, of the TV you wish to do such channel changing on. These databases are 100% strictly power off codes.

Awesome; thanks.
Do you have a list of what manufacturers these codes are for? In the "official" downloadable source, it lists above each code what devices it will turn off.
I'm trying to get the TV-B-Gone to turn off Christie digital projectors, but I don't know if this release has the codes or not.

It seems to work OK on my EHP, but no stealth mode. Looking at the source, it looks like stealth might have been left out of this version. I'm going to try some patch work after $DAYJOB today.BANNED wrote:Oh right, forgot about the EHP design. http://www.BANNED.net/projects/tvbgone/tvbg_ehp.zip is the best match, that I wrote up.
