i was looking around on the website and couldn't find any mention of what the cable connector is used for...did i miss it? i'm assuming it's for programming the microcontroller...does this lend itself for experimentation?

Microcontroller

Hi!

This is agreat site. I am a network guy and the last time I touched a soldering iron was to fix my guitar 10 years ago.

I was wondering if anyone had any advice as to where to buy the microcontroller?

Also If you do put to 10 pin box header on the board in what way would you connect to the microcontroller.

Basically what kind of instrument connects to a 10 pin header and what program would one use to reprogram it?
808's gives you power!

The makefile comes with the open source firmware, available from the TV-B-Gone Kit pages of this Ladyada website.
