I am pretty confident I've done a good job assembling my kit. I've already stuck the kit to the battery, so I can't easily show the solder joints. (I know that's the first thing you ask for - I'd just rather not have to pull off the double sided tape if it isn't necessary)
Anyway - the kit passes the testing stuff:
1) The green light flashes on the board,
2) all the IR LEDs flash when tested. It even turns off one of my TV's
Here's a GIF of the leds lighting - as expected.
I expect the actual problem is that the TV I want to turn off (a Soniq , which is probably a cheap obscure brand) just isn't included in the list of codes.
Where do I go to get more codes. How do I flash the chip - as in connect it up? (I'm used to flashing Arduino chips)
I've probably just overlooked the url pointing to this in the main documentation, so I'd really appreciate a link! ;)
Where are the instructions to add more codes?

The firmware is linked on this page:
https://learn.adafruit.com/tv-b-gone-kit/download
You'll probably need a scope to figure out the Soniq code.
The Design Notes page includes a discussion of code formatting in the firmware

Hey Rick!
Thanks for the links! I totally missed them! I think I'll go play with the kit in the wild first before I decide how motivated I am to make a soniq turn on and off...
Afterall - I'm not actually interested in turning off MY tv :D
