Production Devices

by pasols on Tue Feb 13, 2018 12:10 pm

Hello all,
I've been working on a small wearable project and I thinking into getting in into production in the near future. I used a feather 32u4 and adalogger along with other breakouts like accelerometer, etc.

I was wondering what is the best path to get this into production? What are my options of companies taking this prototype into a deliverable device that goes into production. Is adafruit capable of doing this for business?

Also I will like to know if it's feasible to have a small device with all these functionalities elsewhere, but using the Adafruit IDE which we like so much.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

pasols

We don't do any custom fabrication. Our fab and QA teams are already busy with our existing production schedule.

There are other assembly houses that do short run production though. If you're in the US, Advanced Circuits in Colorado does PCBs and assembly, and they have a good reputation.

Check with several sources though, get quotes, and find out what information you'll need to give them in order to get hardware built.
