Wave shield

Hi! I am trying to get my wave shield to work and it will not.
I am getting this error:

Code: Select all

Wave test!
Free RAM: 660
Error: Card init. failed!
SD I/O error: 6, 0
I don't know what is going on! Please help!

It looks like you have a small short between the WP pad and the cover over the SD card. Try clearing that out and see if it helps.

Do you have any other SD cards you can try?

I have tried two SD cards. Both didn't work

Well, everything in your assembly looks good, so there must be a problem in one of the chips.

Send a note containing a link to this thread and your order number to [email protected]. The folks there will get you another Wave Shield.
