tinyg motor driver 2 malfunction

Post by Musab »

Dear,

I purchased a tinyg v8 board for an educational CNC project and it worked
fine at first. before a couple of days, Motor Driver 2 stopped working and the
indicating led D10 for motor 2 is not flashing when energizing the motors,
while the others work perfectly fine. This problem happened when I first got
the board, but it fixed itself. I reset the factory settings but nothing
changed. the board was used just for few number of times. After the driver
went down the CPU started to heat up very fast and more than usual. now only
3 motor drivers are working.

Order Number: 1491549-6455835941

Thanks,
Musab

The TinyG is designed and produced by Synthetos and they have a support forum specifically for that board. https://www.synthetos.com/forums/tinyg/tinyg-support/
The engineers there can help you diagnose the issue and determine the best course of action to get you up and running again. Be sure to include information about the types of motors and power supply you are using.
