Hi I'm working on a message board and a few of the panels have issues. I would like to have the ability to bench test them with an arduino. There are 140 led's setup in groups of 4 with 5 columns and 7 rows. Each column is controlled by a TPIC6C595 shift register all of which receive commands from a NXP HEF4069UBT hex inverter. I was wondering if there is an existing library i can use to do this.
If you can't help that is ok i'll just have to do it the hard way.
Thanks in advance

The Arduino environment's shiftOut() function was pretty much designed to work with '595s:
