I bought a Teensy 3.2 and an Audio Adapter board. P1780B
I inspected the board, then used a USB, (standard size), on
one end and a USB Mini connector to the other end into the
Teensy 3.2. I made sure it was plugged-in properly in the Teensy.
I have an Electronics Engineering Degree, with 30 years of
designing large Network System. Now retired, I now do a lot of
projects with Raspberry Pi and Arduino.
I tried all of the questions I expect from you. So here's my problem.
1. With in 20 seconds, I touch the board and BURNT one of my fingers!
2. Unless the cable is not wired correctly, does the Teensy require
a special cable?
3. May I get replacement?
I'm about to order, about 6 of these and some others boards from you.
So I can have confidence, in Adafruit doing the right thing...

Re: Teensy 3.2 running HOT!
In my last post, I meant to add that the other end of the cable
was plugged into my Laptop. I also have a device that shows
me the voltage and current. The output was normal. 5.2 V at 2.1 A

Do you get any indication from the laptop that it sees something plugged in? What on the Teensy seems to be getting hot? Are you connecting only the Teensy when you are testing?
