adalink atsamd21g18 module not found

by johncblacker on Tue Nov 20, 2018 11:24 am

I'm trying to use adalink/openOCD to load a bootloader to my feather m0 wifi that's not working with Arduino (and can't burn new bootloader there). I've got openOCD loaded and adalink installed in python 2.7; however, when I run this command:
adalink atsamd21g18 -p stlink -h g:\featherm0bootloader\bootfiles\featherm0bootloader_160503.hex
I get a ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'atsamd21g18'

am I missing something or is there a config file that I have to create? I've followed the instructions in the adafrult_adalink git repository and running on Windows 10. My stlink is recognized and available as a Universal Serial Bus device as STM32 STLink.
It lists three driver files:
โ€ฆ.winusb.sys
โ€ฆ.wdfCoInstaller01009.dll
โ€ฆ.WinUSBCoInstaller2.dll
Perhaps something wrong with drivers? But it seems more to be something in the python file because that's where the "import atsamd21g18" is coming from: "__init__.py"
