Project Board Selection

by itg on Wed Jan 16, 2019 5:07 pm

Iv been working on a project trying to create running lights for an rc plane to mimic a manned aircraft lighting setup. I started with a nano style board and got everything working. Now I am needing to switch to a smaller board to fit into the plane easier. I tried using a digispark and have run into the issues of the sketch being a bit to large.

Project minimum parameters:
Powered from Lipo batter. At least up to 16volts (4s lipo battery)
3 PWM pins to drive a Neopixel ring and 2 sets of 3 WS2812 leds wired together
Over 8K flash memory to accommodate the sketch (current sketch is using just over 100% of the digispark's memory)
Board needs to be as small as possible ( smaller than a nano)

Thanks for your time and help.

Ian

You might want to look at the ItsyBitsy M0. It is shorter, and slightly less wide than an Nano:

Thanks for the info. I was looking at the Itsy Bitsy but could not find a VBat max voltage posted anywhere.
