Recommended WiFi integrated microcontroller

by RayAE86 on Wed Apr 10, 2019 12:31 am

Hello guys, I need some advice for which wi-fi integrated microcontroller is suitable for my project. I've been searching the web and this site for answers but I'm still not sure which one to get. I've read about Arduino UNO WiFi, Adafruit Huzzah ESP8266, and Adafruit Feather M0 (all with built-in Wi-Fi module). I'm not sure if these microcontrollers can provide the current draw for my desired operation.

My project will have: 1 reed switch (open/close door detection), 1 IR proximity sensor, and 1 2MP camera (capture and, if possible, stream images)

Please help and Thanks in advance!

What are your requirements for current? All Wifi radios use at least 75mA.
