Put CircuitPython on Adafruit Feather M0 Bluefruit LE

by ahilton on Mon Apr 29, 2019 9:24 pm

I want to put CircuitPython on my Feather M0 Bluefruit. Every time I try to copy and paste the uf2 file it does nothing. Are there any step-by-step guides for putting CircuitPython on the Bluetooth Feather M0?

Thank you

I have come to realize that I may not be able to run CircuitPython on the above board. I am working within the constraints of my engineering class which will not allow me to use Arduino IDE. Is there a way that I can use the aforementioned board with AVR C?

AVR C won't work on the Feather M0 because the microcontroller isn't a member of the AVR family. It's a SAMD21 32-bit microcontroller.

You can program it from Atmel Studio, but you'll need a JTAG pod to handle the communication.

The SEGGER Mini can talk to ARM M0+ microcontrollers (the SAMD21 is in that family):

and the J-link can talk to almost any ARM microcontroller:
