It is described in this section: https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-dc- ... motors-5-3
Set the throttle to a value between 0.0 and 1.0 to control the speed.

Small low-voltage DC motors like the 130 size motors do not run well at low speeds. How slow do you need to go? You may need to use something like one of the "TT" DC gearmotors: https://www.adafruit.com/product/3777

Hi,

It needs to go quite slow (to be used for a 'vehicle')

Kind regards,

We have these 90:1 gear motors that will go as slow as about 60 RPM (1 revolution per second): https://www.adafruit.com/product/3801

The standard TT gearmotors go down to about 120 RPM: https://www.adafruit.com/product/3777

They are commonly used for small robots, so they would work well in a small vehicle.
