I purchased 2 x Adafruit NRF52840 Feather Expresses boards.
I had planned to use the Arduino IDE following these instructions:
https://learn.adafruit.com/introducing- ... 40-feather
I understand that when plugged into the USB port on my Desktop, the Adafruit shouldbe visible as a USB device, I then need to load the appropriate drivers in order to communicate with the Feather, configure the Arduino IDE and I should then be able to flash the Adafruit.
Unfortunatley Adtuino IDE fails to find the feather.
I've tried this on three desktops(Mac, windows and Linux) and I've tried both feathers and multiple USB cables.
Am I correct in assuming that I should be able to see the devices list as a USB device in Device manager?
I can't see the feather listed onany of three Desktop Oses.
I am unrue what to try next or if I am making a stupid mistake somewhere !
If someone could assist I would be extremely grateful.
Cheers
Pete

Does it show up if you double-click the reset button on the board?

yep!
Seriously - that's all it needed ?
It might be worth updating the Linked howto to recommend that as the first step.....
As a first time feather user, it might have saved me many hours of wasted time.
Thanks for the tip!
