Raspberry Pi Zero W wake up after shutdown

Post by magi206 »

I have a Raspberry Pi Zero W connected to a 5V 2.5 A power supply. After shutting down the Pi Zero, is there a way to "wake" it up again? I have to unplug the power supply cable from either the Pi Zero or the wall, and then plug it back in to get the Pi Zero to boot up. I am wary of removing/reinserting cables from micro USB connectors. Is there an easier way?

You can use the RUN pad for that.

Nice little vid here showing how to use:

Thank you for the information. I will look into this option. Probably, will have to order some header connectors and pins.
