Adafruit METRO 328 DC jack

The description says "polarity protected" - does this mean any polarity of DC is OK, or that if you connect the DC backwards nothing bad will happen (i.e., series diode or whatever)?

It looks like a diode in there.

Yes indeed, and it looks like center positive as well. Of course, I have umpteen center negative wall warts!
