ATTiny45 ItsyBitsy 3V as ISP Programmer?

Post by BrickfordCityFR »

Good Afternoon Everyone, New forums member here.

I am not new to Arduino programming however, I have many projects already using adafruit trinkets and itsybitsy boards. However, this is something I can't seem to find any information on.

My question is this: Can I use one of my ItsyBitsy 3v boards (https://www.adafruit.com/product/3675) as an ISP programmer for an ATTiny? I know you can with Arduino boards such as the uno (https://create.arduino.cc/projecthub/ar ... uno-afb829) and nano.

Thank you for any help!
~Josh

The hardware can do it, but we don't have firmware that makes the ATMega32u4 work as an ATTiny programmer. You may be able to find something online, but we don't know anything specific.
