Adafruit 5" resistive touchscreen absolute mode Raspbian

Post by wrichman »

Hey - can someone tell me how to set a touchscreen input to absolute mode in Raspbian? It's set to "digitizer" in the touchscreen firmware rather than "mouse", and on a Windoze 7 machine, it's absolute, but on my Pi, it's acting like a regular mouse. Click, drag, repeat - no relationship to a position on the screen.

Never mind. Found this https://github.com/tom-2015/rpi-AR1100 and once I did the calibration and set it to Mouse mode, it's doing what I had in mind.
