Hello!
I have an FX mini Sound Board (https://www.adafruit.com/product/2342) Hooked up to a class D amplifier (https://www.adafruit.com/product/1552) with 3W 4Ohm speakers (https://www.adafruit.com/product/1669) connected to the amp.
I have 2 sound files loaded onto the card at the moment. The first file is the left right speaker test and it is set up to trigger on pin 0. The second file is a stereo sound effect that is triggering on pin 1.
When I connect ground to pin 0 the left right audio test file plays just fine, left comes out of the left speaker, right comes out of the right.
The stereo sound file I am trying to work with starts on the left speaker and 'slides' over to the right speaker. Halfway through this sound file the left speaker cuts out and only the right speaker is playing. Once this happens the left speaker wont make any sound until power is cycled. Even going back to the left right test file, you only hear the word right coming from the right speaker.
Cycling power to the sound card fixes the problem until the stereo sound effect file is played again, knocking out the left speaker again.
I would appreciate any help or guidance on what might be causing this and how I might be able to fix it.
Thank you very much for your time!
Alex

Re: Audio FX Mini Sound Board Left Speaker Cutting Out
Are you power cycling just the FX Board, or the FX Board and the speaker amp?
Isolating the problem at one side of the connection between the speaker and amplifier will make debugging easier.
