Pico and MiCS5524?

Post by mutanthumb »

Hi-
I'd like to do some gas sensing in my home and am also interested in learning about the Rasp Pi Pico. Will the Pico work with MiCS5524? I'd also prefer to do some soldering rather than just plug it into a Grove or Qwiic system.

If this sensor won't work can you recommend another one?

I'm also interested in Barometric Pressure sensing.

Thanks,
susan

The MiCS5524 will work fine with a Pi pico. The sensor outputs an analog signal which is easy to work with.

Would it make more sense to use an Adafruit BME680 if you are interested in pressure and gas?
