QT PY Unresponsive with no detection or LEDs
I recently got my QT PY and when I opened it up and tried to connect it to my computer, nothing happened. I followed the instructions here however nothing happens no matter how many times I double click reset. I've used two USB-C cables on two ports on my computer and both are known good for data connections. The QT PY does seem to pass power thru the STEMMA QT connector as the OLED screen LED lit up when I tried it with something plugged in. I believe the issue is with the bootloader as I found a post here that had a similar issue. These are some images of the QT PY.

Re: QT PY Unresponsive with no detection or LEDs
Hello!
I have the identical problem with a newly purchased QTPy (SAMD21).
Dead on arrival. No LED activity, no bootloader mode, nada.
Should I start a new thread or just email support?

I emailed support and was told to start a thread and then emailed them again with a link as the admin said and they issued a replacement. Maybe try linking this thread?

Re: QT PY Unresponsive with no detection or LEDs
I just received a QT PT SamD21 with this identical issue - totally unresponsive - no LED on. I am using an Adafruit USB C cable and have used other known good data cables without any luck. I did check that 5v and 3.3v are present at the board.
I just doubled checked the Adafruit cable with my MCP2221A and it functions as expected.
Purchased from Mouser.
