NFC product compatibility

Post by tommydogs »

Does Adafruit sell any NFC (PN532) products with libraries that are known to work with the Raspberry Pi Pico?

@tommydogs,

Based on this forum post I believe our PN532 would be compatible with the Pi Pico.

Thank you for the response.

So that post mentions an Elechouse PN532 product. Is the design of their product similar enough to the design of the Adafruit product that you feel it would work?

This PN532 NFC Library for Arduino shows support for the both the Elechouse and Adafruit modules which is promising.

Adafruit has a PN532 library as well. Since we are talking about i2c or SPI communication I suspect there is a great deal of compatibility across different controllers.
