QT PY ESP32 DOA
When plugged in it just gets hot to the touch and is unresponsive to programming. I have tried different cables and the other esp32 boards from this order seem to work fine.

Re: QT PY ESP32 DOA
Are the other ESP32 boards that work of the same make?
Which QT PY ESP32 do you have? There are several variants:

No, the other boards are a QT PY C3, and Feather S2. The one I'm having trouble with is P5395.

Re: QT PY ESP32 DOA
Thanks for clarifying the specific QT PY being used.
Is anything attached to any of the pins? Or is it just the USB cable being attached?
Does the PC at least make a "something connected" noise when it's plugged in?
