It's a piece of perf-board and you can find it most places you can buy electronic components. It's just a 0.1" grid of plated-through holes with a ring on each side. On snag with using these as an Arduino shield is that the spacing of one of the Arduino heraders is just a bit off the 0.1" grid, but close enough that it can be made to work. For something far easier work with in this context, you can get one of these: https://www.adafruit.com/product/2077.

I have gone forward in the project of using pressure sensors and accelerometers to control the y axe of a gamepad.

The accelerometer i have been using is a Gy-521 MPU-6050 .

I am trying to use 2 accelerometer (1 for foot) to control servomotors that act on a potentiometer of a joysrick. The 2 accelerometers that i wear on my feet or legs, control 1/2 of the y axe movement /potentiometer of the joysrick.

The problem is that the Gy-521 MPU-6050 does not seem a best solution as accelerometer. Is there any better accelerometer i could buy from adafruit that generates cleaner data for vertical movements/accelerations on 1 axe only?
The rotation of the servomotor is very small and the movemets of the legs should result in very tiny movements of the servo based on how fast or slow the legs are moved.

The LIS3DH is a popular one (it's used on the various CircuitPlayground boards and the Prop-Maker FeatherWing https://www.adafruit.com/product/2809 and the ADXL343 looks good as well (I haven't used it in a project yet, but the specs are good) https://www.adafruit.com/product/4097.

Both of the above have a single address selection pin, so that you can easily use two.

Are they both much better than the one i am using right now?

Is there anything even better so that it can limit any background data and be responsive to the motion i need to capture and convert to small servomotor rotations/potentiometers rotations ?

I would like to try to make the in game walking smooth and also be able to pick up the difference between slower walk (tiny movement of the servo that then remain at that position) and faster walk (bigger movement of the servo that then remain at that position). The goal is to be taking wider steps when walking compared to what i am doing in the video above.

The video below of walking achieved with other sensors that are not arduino related and that do not work on servomotors, would show you the widness of my steps.

In the case of using arduino accelerometers on servomotors , is that a big movement of the accelerometers, would need to be converted in a tiny and slow movement of the servomotor .

The one you have now appears to have a gyroscope as well. The two I pointed out are just accelerometers. If you need a gyroscope you could use an LSM9DS1 https://www.adafruit.com/product/3387 or go all the way and use a bno055 https://www.adafruit.com/product/2472 that does sensor fusion processing on-chip and can give you absolute orientation data.

l think I would just need the best accelerator I could get , because I am not sure I would use the gyroscope and / or the absolute orientation data. The orientation in space would be given by the vr headsets I would be using, also the whole arduino coding might become too complicated, unless I get some sort of support for using proper coding for it for the use of the project I showed in the video

Yes, you can use 2 of them via I2C by grounding the SDO pin on one of them. This will give it a different address. See the data sheet for details. The sensitivity is selectable. Again, see the dtatsheet for details. https://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/data-sheets/ADXL345.pdf
