Q. Is Metro328 Mini Comp. with I2C legacy pins

by Blueshark on Tue Sep 10, 2019 12:52 am

I have a basic question, is the Metro 328 Mini pin Compatible with the old I2C; A4(SDA), and A5(SCL)pins found on old Arduinos?

Metro328 Mini...

I want to use this Servo Shield...

Metro328 Mini will be placed in this protoshield to connect to Servo Shield...

I got my reasons why I want to do this setup... but does the Arduino328 Mini use the I2C legacy A4, A5 pins?

Cheers...

Hi, Blueshark!

Yes, the Adafruit Metro Mini 328 - Arduino-Compatible - 5V 16MHz uses pin A4 for SDA, and pin A5 for SCL, just like the Arduino UNO R3.

I found this in the I2C Port section of the primary product guide for the Metro Mini 328.

Cheers,

Eric
