Pigtail Connectors

Post by v10builder1 »

For Arduino Mega 2560 - I need to find a source for pre-manufactured male connectors with pigtail wire leads (not ribbon cables) to carry signals to/from the Mega on-board in-line jacks, connectors to plug directly into those jacks. The need is for 1 row x 10 pin connectors (3 needed), 1 row x 8 pin connectors (15 needed), and 2 row x 18 pin connectors (3 needed). Pigtail leads about 12" long, terminated at bare wire, wire insulation color coded if possible. I can check Mouser or Digikey myself, but I honestly don't know exactly what to call the connector/plug type.

Any help you can provide is appreciated. I did not find these at Adafruit - perhaps my search was faulty.

Thanks.

If you don't want to make them yourself you will probably need to find a cable manufacturer that will make them for you or you might find pre-made ribbon cables, cut the end off and strip the conductors apart.
