I am trying to control 3 dc motors with an Arduino Uno R3, Adafruit v2.3, and HM-10 Bluetooth module from an app on my cellphone called Blynk. For whatever reason, I cannot get the motor to move at all. I have been able to get a servo to work from the motorshield. I have even tried uploading the example code for a dc motor test and that doesn't work either.
The motor isn't burned out or anything because if I plug it into the breadboard and power it that way it works fine. I just think it's very strange that I am able to get a servo to work but not a dc motor. Anybody have any suggestions as to why my motor would not work?
I should also let it be known that my dc motors are servos that I "performed surgery on" and took out the microcontroller and the input wire connected to it. So it only has a hot and ground wire now. So it is essentially a dc motor at this point. I'm not sure if this matters at all either.
