I have a project using the breakout VS-1053 connected to an Arduino Uno. I used the wiring provided in the tutorial for the breakout and modified slightly the AdaFruitPlayer_simply sketch to suit my project.
Using Audacity to record 2 tracks for testing. I transfered them to the SD card in the MP3 format.
All is well and good to this point but when I play the first track, at the end, a voice comes on and identifies the track with "track 01".
The same thing happens with track number 2. "track 02"
I am at a total loss as to where this "voice" comes from and how did it get on the SD card. I cannot find anything in Audacity to turn this on/off.
I need some help please.
Roy

It sounds like you didn't erase the existing data from the tracks before recording.

Franklin97355. Thank you for your reply.
Today I went into Audacity and found that this program attaches a verbal track id at the end of every track. I cannot find a way to stop this from happening. However, I now clip the end of the track and remove the verbal id. Problem solved!
