How to connect TPA2012 Audio Amp to Arduino

Post by bilalarshad »

Hi,

I am trying to connect a TPA2012 Audio Amplifier with Arduino and I don't know which ports should be connected to Arduino.
The Arduino is connected to a SD card adapter, an Ultrasonic sensor (HC-SRO4), and a 3W 4Ohm speaker. There is a .wav audio file in the SD card which is played on the speaker when an object is detected by the sensor. However, the volume at the speaker is very low and I want to connect the amplifier to increase the volume.
Please help me to increase the volume of the speaker by using either TPA2012 or PAM8302A amplifier.

What are you using to turn the .WAV file into a sound?

The .wav file is read by the Arduino through the SD adapter and from Pin 9 of Arduino the speaker plays the music.
I am not sure exactly what you are asking.

That's ok, I'm not sure exactly how that can work.

You have heard this music you speak of? Its not just your little sister playing music on her phone and giggling behind you?

You have a picture of this setup?
