Question about Adafruit ultimate GPS

by BrandoCoins on Fri Feb 08, 2019 2:07 pm

https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-ult ... s/overview

I am building a rocket flight computer, and I need to often log data like velocity, acceleration, and height but I noticed that the gps overview page mentioned that "The time, date, longitude, latitude, and height is logged every 15 seconds and only when there is a fix." But it only mentions that when it is talking about logging it to internal storage. Does anyone know if I can update it more often (maybe to like an sd card), and not when it is at a fix? If not, does anyone have any other suggestions on sensors I could use?

Take a look at the command list. You can set the update rate to as fast as 100ms but you also need to set the baud rate first to a speed that can handle that. You then need to factor in where you are going to keep the data and how long it takes to store it there.
