PN532: Didn't find PN53x board

by amychen on Tue May 07, 2019 3:41 am

I've wired the PN532 sensor, but when I run the readMifare code from the installed Adafruit PN532 library, it keeps giving me the "Didn't find PN53x board" error. I've checked all the wires with a Multimeter and they are all connected in the right way. I'm using SPI so I've also changed SEL0 to OFF and SEL1 to ON. None of the wires are touching either and there is power going to PN532. However, when I checked with the oscilloscope, Arduino doesn't seem to be responding to anything when I run the readMifare program. Does anyone know what I can do to solve it and is it possible that's it's a software issue?

Could be hardware. Please post a photo of your setup showing how you have everything connected.
