Crickit seesaw with an ESP32 compiled on Arduino not working

by Audrey45 on Mon Feb 24, 2020 8:08 am

Hi,
We have a team project to realise a robot.
We have an ESP32 Espressif Feather connect to our Adafruit Crickit Seesaw.
We compile on Arduino and all our connections look good.

But the problem is about the compilation, always this message appears :

"rst:0x1 (POWERON_RESET),boot:0x13 (SPI_FAST_FLASH_BOOT)
configsip: 0, SPIWP:0xee
clk_drv:0x00,q_drv:0x00,d_drv:0x00,cs0_drv:0x00,hd_drv:0x00,wp_drv:0x00
mode:DIO, clock div:1
load:0x3fff0018,len:4
load:0x3fff001c,len:808
load:0x40078000,len:6084
load:0x40080000,len:6696
entry 0x400802e4
ERROR!"

On Arduino we use :
- librairy : Adafruit_Seesaw-master
- card manager : esp32 by Espressif Systems ; we selected Adafruit ESP32 Feather (because is our Esp32)

Also it's very strange, because after the compilation, if we unplugs the usb connect between the EPS32 and the computer, and if after we reconnect the 5v alimention, it's working. We tried with the servo motors and motors.

I hope, you going to figure what is our problem.

Thanks a lot !

Let's back up and make sure basic programming of the Feather ESP32 works. Remove the Feather from the Crickit for now. Make sure you've followed the Arduino setup from the guide:
https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-huz ... rduino-ide

And then see if you can upload and run the basic Blink example.
File -> Examples -> 01.Basics -> Blink
