100k thermistor

by desakor on Sun Mar 01, 2020 10:00 pm

Good morning all

I have a small circuit which must use an NTC 100K thermistor

I made this circuit (I already received the PCB)

The purpose of the circuit is to control RGW leds according to the temperature of the hotend of a 3D printer.

I followed this tutorial to make my diagram but I realize that it is for a NTC 10K https://learn.adafruit.com/thermistor/u ... thermistor

I don't need much precision

I want my LEDs to be red below 30 ° going green after 30 ° and white passing the 190 °

I don't know what to change to use an NTC 100K thermistor and a 100K resistor (I can change it)

Voila, thank you

It looks like you have already changed the fixed resistor to 100K in your schematic. You just need to adjust your code accordingly:

Code: Select all | TOGGLE FULL SIZE
// the value of the 'other' resistor
#define SERIESRESISTOR 100000
