Hello,
I just received my Metro Mini to work on an urgent project. I paid double the cost of the board in shipping to get it here on time.
The board is recognized by my Windows machine and I can connect to the COM port in the Arduino IDE.
However the upload always fails after 10 attempts by "avrdude". When I press the reset button, no red LED appears anywhere.
Seems like my board did not get the bootloader installed properly. This appears to be a common issue with you guys... I found three threads from other customers with the exact same problem. Still not fixed apparently.

I do not have an ISP programmer... do I have any options to get this board working?

Did you install the drivers? See links at bottom of product page:

Re: Metro Mini - Can't Upload
Thank you for the fast response.
I did install both of the drivers. You can see my COM port is recognized as a SiLabs USB-UART Bridge.
And since the board cannot respond to a RESET button press, I think that rules out a driver issue anyway.

Thank you for the response.
No LEDs light up when the reset button is pressed. The green 'power good' LED is always on of course.

Re: Metro Mini - Can't Upload
In the video, please ignore my 'reckless' breadboard set up. I realize the board next to the metro mini should not be there (I just stuck it there for storage). However, there is no electrical interference from that other board and the issue happens whether the board is there or not. Just figured I should clear that up...
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Metro Mini - Can't Upload
k yes do not ever do that, it can destroy boards if the wrong voltage is fed around, it doesnt matter if the second board is unpowered. if you have another arduino you can re-burn the bootloader. if you do not, you can email support@adafruit for a refund.
