Didn't find PN53x board

by marclk on Tue Mar 31, 2020 1:28 pm

I recently bought the PN532 NFC Module v3 (https://www.tinytronics.nl/shop/nl/comm ... 50-key-tag) and I tried getting it to work on an SPI Interface on my arduino, however I keep running into the same issue where it keeps giving the error "Didn't find PN53x board". I tried getting resoldering the connections but it doesn't seem to work.

I've added images of my hardware setup below. My code is the standard readMifareClassic example.

Okay so i figured out that there is a teeny tiny switch on the NFC reader which is on default set to HSU mode. In order to make it work like a i2c device I had to switch the upper switch to 1 instead of 0. That made it work perfectly.

Cheers
