I am using the AMG8833 Featherwing with a Feather M4 Express and a mini Mini Color TFT with Joystick FeatherWing. (sidenote: I also used a feather doubler so I didn't cover the AMG8833 with the screen!) Anyway everything is working great, I was able to adapt the thermal_cam_interpolate example script from Dean Miller to display an interpolated thermal image on the tiny 0.96" screen and it looks great on the small screen!
My question is about the framerate of the AMG8833. From what I'm reading the AMG8833 can run in 10hz or 1hz modes, with the 1hz mode returning a bit more accurate temperatures. Does anyone know how to set the framerate? I found info on this here
