Defective Teensy's

Post by seriseri6383 »

Hi, I ordered 13 Teensy 3.2's and 3 of them are defective. I have used hundreds of Teensy's in my project and these are the only ones that I just can't get to work, LED's don't light up, they're dead and I've done all the troubleshooting steps. I'd like to arrange replacements or a refund. Thank you!

Can you explain what is "defective" and how you tested them? We sold many of them and have not seen that many troublesome boards.

Defective meaning they’re dead and the computer doesn’t recognize them when J try flashing them. it’s interesting because I ordered 3, and then 10 on separate orders in the same day, and the 3 that came together are the ones that don’t work.
For context, I use them in a eurorack module that I have built about 250 of so far and have never had any issues with any teensy’s before. This is relatively time sensitive so I’m hoping to be able to sort it out as soon as possible.
Thank you.

As for testing, at first I just wanted to flash them right out of the packaging, on 2 macs and a windows machine and no luck. These boards definitely came dead.

I'll have supply check to see if they see a problem with stock. Have you checked with Teensy? https://www.pjrc.com/store/teensy32.html

We can replace this one but if it coms up again you should check with PJRC as we just sell them not make them. Contact [email protected] with a link to this thread and they will replace the Teensy 3.2.
