LTC4311 + I2C Display + Arduino Mega

by Auer6234 on Wed Jun 09, 2021 9:34 am

Hello,

my name is Christian.

I would have one question please.
I have bought some days ago a LTC4311 I2C Extender, and the dealer can´t give me a support because he also dont know how to correct wire it .

I want to connect this display with IC2 connection https://www.amazon.de/AZDelivery-HD44780-Display-Zeichen-Schnittstelle/dp/B07DDGNPX1/ref=sr_1_4?__mk_de_DE=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&dchild=1&keywords=display+i2c&qid=1623242492&s=industrial&sr=1-4
to my Arduino with an about 2m long networkcable (cat5E).

But i don´t know how to correct wire it.
I made a little drawing, how i imagine to wire it.

Sketch looks OK to me, so try it! Use the SDA/SCL pins on the MEGA, near pin 13.
Just connect all SDA, SCL, 5V and GND
