Connecting mini solenoid to a breadboard

Post by asiegel34 »

Hi, I just purchased a mini solenoid and was surprised to find that (unlike your other solenoids?) it has a JST type connector instead of breadboard pins. Can you please advise on what other parts I need in order to connect the solenoid to a breadboard? Thank you.

None of our solenoids come with breadboard pins. Just stripped and tinned leads. You can cut of the JST and do the same. Or you can use a couple of short pieces of 22AWG solid core hookup wire as shown on the product page.
