Oozemaster3000 using a rp2040 MCU?

Post by jgriesfeller »

HI,

(not sure if this the right forum, so apologies if not)

I am trying to replicate this Icicle project https://learn.adafruit.com/holiday-icic ... with-flair which is based on the Oozemaster3000 project) using a Pi Pico or any other rp2040 based board.

I got it running using a Feather M0 Express (so the hardware setup is basically working), but although the rp2040 strand test from the NeoPXL8 repository (https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_NeoPXL8) also works using the Pi Pico, the Oozemaster3000 does not work. There's no activity on the Neopixels at all.

This brought me to the general question if the Oozemaster3000 project is even supposed to work with the Pi Pico / rp2040.

Is there anybody who got it working on a rp2040?

Thanks for your help!
