Need help regaring Arduino PCB Design

Post by medisonmiss »

Hi,

I have worked on a project using Arduino YUN and designed its prototype, which is working fine and now I want to design its PCB board, so I wanted to know that Arduino YUN is open source or not and can anyone please guide me to its PCB design files, any ink to download them.

Moreover, as here people must have designed PCB boards, so I wanted to ask. Should I design a rigid flex board or a complete rigid board. I think I should convert my sensors to flexible PCB but it looks too expensive, so any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks.

Hello,

Arduino Yun is open-source hardware. For schematics, please check the documentation section of the following link: https://docs.arduino.cc/retired/boards/arduino-yun
Couldn't find any PCB layout of Yun. Looks like you have to design the PCB by yourself.
I think a rigid-flex PCB will be a good idea. To know more about rigid-flex PCBs, you can read this article: https://www.theengineeringprojects.com/ ... e-pcb.html

The Yun is an Arduino product. Documentation, schematics and licensing details can be found on the Arduino site: https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/ArduinoBoardYun/

Unless your project has a requirement for a flexible PCB, a rigid board will be simpler and less expensive.
