Enquiry for 1590 and 1680 (SO#822207)

Hi,
Customer has bought both parts , 1590 & 1680 each under Mouser PO# 029-0P091.
According to them, these 2 items work hand in hand so firstly, their student has soldered the pins (come with the packaging) to the driver board part 1590 and then he connected the driver board to part 1680. Upon supplying an input voltage of 3.3V to the driver board, the screen did not lit up and nothing else happened. (see photos)

Please help to verify and advise.

The 5" TFT (ADA# 1680) backlight requires a constant current booster as mentioned on the product page. Where as the other models of display can run the backlight off 5v (ADA# 1591, 1596, 2354)

Not only that, but the backlight requires a constant-current mode boost converter that can go as high as 24V instead of our other small displays that can run the backlight off of 5V
