External TX/RX of arduino micro fails

by juanfm on Sun Dec 30, 2012 7:52 pm

Hi, i'm trying to use a bluetooth with my arduino micro, but i can't because there aren't communication between these, leds of tx and rx don't shine. I use the same sketch in other ardunio uno and it works correctly, with the same pins configuration.. I can communicated with the arduino with monitor serial, but not with the bluetooth.

What can i do?

Thanks!

Sorry for my english.

it *can't* have the same pin configuration, since the Micro and Uno use a different chip.
Have you accounted for the fact that Uno uses it's UART "Serial.xx" for both the USB and bluetooth connection, while on the Micro, Serial.xxx is still the USB connection, but the uart is separate and (probably) accessed via "Serial1.xxx" ?
