Power supply + FSR

Post by G5000 »

Hi -- i'm new to microprocessors so excuse my naiveté-- two questions:
1 -- in one of the beginner projects you operate a DC motor -- your pc powers the uno and a 9V battery powers the DC motor -- i want to power both of them through something like the adafruit 9V DC 100mA regulated switching power adapter -- question --can i use one (1) adapter and split the output or do i need two (2) adapters ( note that batteries are not an option in this scenario)

question 2 -- i'm going to be using the small round adafruit FSR (product id 166) for my own project -- i need to have the sensor about 1 or 2 feet from the uno so, how can i extend the connectors? (i don't want the extra-long FSR since i only want to sense pressure in a very small area)

thanks

There are several ways to extend the wires depending on how secure you need them.you could use these terminal blocks or just solder wires on the ends to extend them.
