Test Fixtures/Shields/Wings/etc

Post by westfw »

Does Adafruit have any "test shield" designs for any of the boards?

I'm picturing something with a bunch of LEDs (and maybe drivers), and perhaps some pots, so you could plug it onto an Uno-format (or whatever) board and confirm that software was able to manipulate all the pins and see reasonable values of analogInput(), and pins_arduino.h/variant.cpp was set up correctly, and stuff like that.

That's a cool idea -- we don't make anything like that. I remember a super cool shield called the Danger Shield by Zach Hoeken from many years ago that was similar to that. You may want to look and see if any other Uno compatible shields are out there that have lots of LEDs, inputs, etc.
