Hello!
I am trying to create a printed circuit board that goes on top of the new data logger shield for the Arduino. In order to make sure I get the proper fit, is there anyway that you can provide the dimensions of the data logger shield? I need to make sure all of my headers line up in the right places.
Thanks!

The complete CAD files are here on Github: https://github.com/adafruit/Data-Logger-shield
Since it is an R3 compatible Arduino shield, the header footprint is identical to an Arduino UNO R3.

Re: New Data Logging Shield Dimensions
Thank you for the quick response!
I'm actually going to put headers through the inner row of through holes. I'm not sure if that matters (I'm a civil engineer, just trying to make some components work for a civil engineering project I'm working on so please forgive any lack of knowledge).
So it goes: (Bottom) Arduino Uno // Adafruit Data Logging Shield // New PCB Design (Top).
But I think the diagrams you provided will help. Do you have any for the new release that came out this month? I see those links were two years old.

I don't believe there have been any changes to the header layout, but I will check with the designer.

Okay thank you! I think the only change is the location of the SDA and SCL through holds. If they are normal spacing as everything else, I should be fine.
Thanks!
Thanks!

If you build the logger shield with stacking headers and your new board on the Uno footprint you can then plug it into the Uno without the logger if needed.I'm actually going to put headers through the inner row of through holes.

I see ... this makes sense to me now! We can just use normal headers and then go into the same Arduino Uno pins again.
Thanks,
Andrew
