HELP!!! URGENT VS1053 MusicMaker Shield

Post by Check123 »

Hi,
I’m using a shield board with your 1053b chip mounted, the board is the Adafruit MusicMaker (The one with the 3w amp) beside the incomplete wrong libraries provided by Adafruit (and adapting a working one provided by VLSI) I was able to record file in .ogg .
The problem is that the shield create a file which is correctly long (when I press a button it start and when I press it again it stop) but the actual audio in the file is shorter (more or less 1 sec).
What can I do?
I’ve tried to change different resolutions on the plugin but the result remain the same.
It’s urgent, I’m already 2 days late with the delivery of my project.

Please send help!

Thanks a lot

We know the code we provide with the VS1053 records OGG files properly. People have used it successfully for years.

Does the VS1053 record properly when you use the 'record_ogg' example sketch?
