GPS Shield Accuracy

Post by JimOH »

I have read about improvements for GPS accuracy down to as little as 2cm. I understand additional technology is required for that to work. My question is whether or not the GPS shield from Adafruit can be a part of that process? I am trying to design a robotic platform that has that kind of accuracy as part of the HS robotics class I teach.

Haven't heard anything about 2cm. There are indoor positioning systems that have that kind of resolution, but they're not GPS. There's no way you'll get that out of our GPS.
